Privacy Policy

Justice League (“the app”) is a private, invite-only app for members of the Justice League men’s group. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how it is handled. If you have questions, contact us at ryan.l.hendrickson@gmail.com.

Who can use the app

The app is available only to members whose phone number has been added to the group roster by an administrator. There is no public sign-up.

Information we collect

We collect only what’s needed to run the group app:

Phone number: used to sign you in and identify your account. It is the only login credential.
Name and profile: your display name and the codename/avatar you choose.
Content you create: messages, photos, videos, voice messages, files, and links you share in the chat; trivia answers; event details and RSVPs.
Device push token: if you enable notifications, so we can send you alerts.

We do not collect location, contacts, browsing history, advertising identifiers, or any data for advertising or cross-app tracking.

How your information is used

To provide core features: group chat, daily trivia, the calendar, the roster, and the leaderboard.
To deliver push notifications you opt into.
To keep the group safe (handling reports and blocks, described below).

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising or tracking. We do not use third-party analytics or ad networks.

How your information is stored and shared

Data is stored securely with our backend provider, Supabase, which processes it on our behalf. Media is stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived, signed links.
Push notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service.
Content you post in the chat is visible to other members of your group. It is not shared with anyone outside the group.

User content, reporting, and blocking

The app contains member-generated content. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior. You can:

Report any message (long-press the message → Report Message). Reports are reviewed by an administrator, who can remove content and remove members.
Block any member (long-press their message → Block). Blocked members’ messages are hidden from you.

Reported content is reviewed and acted on within 24 hours where warranted.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept while you are a member of the group. You may delete your own messages at any time. To have your account and associated data removed, contact an administrator or email us at ryan.l.hendrickson@gmail.com, and we will delete it.

Children

The app is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date above will change accordingly.
